Of winter's lifeless world each tree Now seems a perfect part;
Yet each one holds summer's secret Deep down within its heart.

Five things I'm thankful for
1. Even though my garage door has frozen open and my car won't start, my garage has become a haven to shelter the birds, squirrels, and rabbits from this terrible cold weather we're having.
2. The sound of a purring cat.
3. Hugs from my two little grandchildren
4. A good book to read.
5. The birds at the feeders.

No 1 is a good way to help out the wildlife. I hope all that cold weather soon gives way to some warmer weather soon. Helen
Good things to be glad about, especially the sanctum garage.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by the cabin!
It's very cold here too--in fact, our pipes to the bathroom sink and shower froze! We were thankful that we still hot water in the kitchen! They finally broke lose yesterday afternoon--again--so thankful!
I live up high on a ridge in a snow belt area--its been so cold that the birds have all moved down to the warmer valleys. My feeders have not been visited since
Dec. I'm looking for them to come back any day. I don't mind winter--but this has been a cold and snowy one!
Again, thank you for the kind words left at the cabin--its so nice to meet you!
Blessings to You!
